About

Robin Newman, senior product designer

I'm Robin Newman, a research-led product designer who ships in production. For fifteen years I have designed the products and systems businesses run on, from enterprise SaaS at Infor to digital product at The New York Times, and I founded and scaled a social-impact product to 30,000 users.

I research deeply, design with care, and build what I design. I see every interface as a bridge between human curiosity and emerging technology, and I never lose sight of the person on the other side of the screen. Great design, to me, is empathy made precise.

What I do

I make complex systems feel obvious when designed well. I design enterprise tools people actually want to use, and I stay close to where the field is heading, right now that means AI.

UX Research

Talk to the people who use it. Discovery, interviews, synthesis, and usability testing that turns ambiguity into direction.

Product & Service Design

End-to-end design from problem framing to shipped interfaces engineering can build.

Design Systems and UI Maps

Tokens, components, and patterns that scale across teams without losing craft.

Prototype, Prototype, Prototype.

Working prototypes that de-risk decisions and bring teams to alignment quickly. Designers know, show and tell is best.
